I've had this blog since 2005, and I've never been entirely happy with the layout and the functionality. It lay dormant for quite a while and now I'm bringing it back. I'm thinking this will be more of a photoblog of my comings and goings through the urban landscape I live in.

So please be patient while I get this whole format thing figured out.

The Last Day of Astroland

September 9th was the last day of the season for Astroland. Since the sale of the land the park sit on to Thor Equities, the future of another season of Astroland remains uncertain. I made several visits to Coney Island throughout the spring and summer this year to document the last year of the iconic landmark - it was a very original idea, by the way, as everyone and their brother was parading around with huge expensive cameras around their necks seemingly doing the same.
